A short film by Brian Levi Bowman featuring the song "Daydream" by one of my favorite musicians and designers, Tycho aka iso50 aka Scott Hansen. The 2:37 second video was beautifully made. The colors, the cinematography, the little space dust particle effect...simply amazing. As for the song, no lie, I would love to wake up every morning to that song. It's that aesthetically beautiful. You can view the video below.

MERIDIAN
noun
1. a circle of constant longitude passing through a given place on the earth's surface and the terrestrial poles.
(also celestial meridian) Astronomy a circle passing through the celestial poles and the zenith of a given place on the earth's surface.
2. (in acupuncture and Chinese medicine) each of a set of pathways in the body along which vital energy is said to flow. There are twelve such pathways associated with specific organs.
The philosophy of materialism holds that the only thing that can be truly proven to exist is matter. Fundamentally, material composes all things and all phenomena are the result of material interactions; therefore, matter is the only substance and can neither be created or destroyed. Hence, we are all made of only what came before us yet discretely conceived through form; we are all made of earth and sky and stars.
Meridian uses time lapse footage coupled with a live action environment to describe the material connection between the ethereal universe and human perception. Featuring the track "The Daydream" by the ambient artist Tycho, star-scapes intersect a city and a female protagonist in the process of discovery within the context of ordinary life.
